UZAY YÜKSEKKAYA
President of the Board
Uzay Yüksekkaya is the founding President of the YEAP Association. He holds a bachelor’s degree in the department of International Relations from EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi University. Mr. Yüksekkaya had completed his internships at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate to EU Affairs and Foreign Policy Institute. In his civil society life, he had worked as Project Coordinator with many NGOs within the scope of Erasmus+ Key Action projects and had written Youth Mobility Projects related with EU Youth Goals. Moreover, he had participated many Erasmus+ projects in 5 different countries. Currently, he is working as Administration Expert in “Capacity Building to the EUD in Origination of EFSD+ Project Pipelines and Blending Operations” Project which funded by European Union IPA III programme. Furthermore, he is studying for his master’s degree in M.B.A. at Rome Business School.
HASAN ATAHAN ÖZATA
Vice President/Finance Coordinator
Hasan Atahan Özata graduated from EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi University, Department of International Relations in July 2022. He organized many trainings, seminars and conferences in Turkish and English. During his university years, he took care to be involved in social volunteering activities by taking part in many student clubs, and at the same time, he was the president and sponsorship manager of the Model United Nations Community. He also wrote 2 Youth Mobility projects within the scope of EU projects. He completed his internship in the Human Resources Department of Kıraç Elektrik, one of the EskiÅŸehir Kıraç Group companies. Özata, being on the board of directors of YEAP is the coordinator of financial management in the operations department.
SÜEDA UZUN
Erasmus+ Project Coordinator
Süeda Uzun is studying for her master's degree in Security Studies at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. She completed her internships at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye and the Center for Eurasian Studies. She had worked as a Project Coordinator with an NGO regarding Erasmus+ Key Action projects. She worked voluntarily in many organizations such as Antalya Diplomacy Forum and Jean Monnet Network. She also wrote Youth Mobility Projects related to EU Youth Goals. She is a scholarship holder in TUBÄ°TAK 3005 Research Project.
FATMA SEVER
Local Funds Project Coordinator
Fatma Sever is a M.A. student and teaching assistant in Security Studies at TOBB University of Economics and Technology. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Eskisehir Osmangazi University. During her undergraduate education, she took an active role in many student clubs in different positions and departments, and also completed internships at the UNFPA Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) Project and Directorate of Migration Management. Formerly, she also voluntarily took part in many social responsibility projects through The Educational Volunteers Foundation of Turkey (TEGV) and the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV). She currently takes an active role in many academic and social projects with different in parallel with her graduate education. Sever, who is also on the board of directors of YEAP, is the coordinator of local funds in the project management department.
BÜÅžRA BUSE TOPAL
Organization Team Coordinator
BüÅŸra Buse Topal is the Organization Team Coordinator of the YEAP Association. Ms. Topal graduated from the Department of Business Administration at EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi University and she still continues her education at Anadolu University, Department of Sociology. During her university life, besides being the coordinator of many events and programs, she has undertaken the duties of Chairman of the Board of Directors, Regional Representative and Project Executive in NGOs. She is currently working as a Human and Culture expert at the Innovation and Technology Directorate, Mamak Fusion.
NAGEHAN NUR UYSAL
Academy Coordinator
As an Academy Coordinator Nagehan Nur Uysal graduated from EskiÅŸehir Osmangazi University, Department of International Relations in 2020. She did her volunteer internships in two institutions as EskiÅŸehir Provincial Immigration Administration and Foreign Policy Institute. She worked in AIESEC, UNDP and many NGOs during and after her education life. Uysal continues her education life as a master's thesis student in the Department of European Union Politics and International Relations at Marmara University. At the same time, she carries out works on EU and Türkiye-EU relations with its expert staff at the Economic Development Foundation.
