YEAP MODEL EUROPEAN UNION (MEU) SIMULATION CONFERENCE

The “YEAP Model European Union (MEU) Simulation” event, which will be held in Istanbul on 3-4 June 2023 in cooperation with the YEAP and Bruxircle team, will be held with the participation of approximately 50 young people between the ages of 18-30. Within the scope of our event, participant will be able to take up the role as the Member of the European Parliament (MEP), and the European Parliament will be simulated within the framework of our main topic, "EU Enlargement". The event language is English. The event, which the Bruxircle team will support with "MEU 101" workshop before the event, will be conducted by YEAP Academy.

YEAP MEU Simulation Conference aims to enable students interested in decision making processes of the European Union to learn more about European issues, diplomatic skills, lobbying among EU Member States, improve their skills and meet other students. Participants will be supported by members of the Organising Team of the YEAP Association throughout the simulation and in the run up to the conference. Moreover, experienced Chairs will moderate debates during the simulation and will maintain order whilst ensuring that all participants have equal opportunities to make their voices heard and contribute to discussions. In the end of the event, a resolution paper will be presented to the board by participants. The Resolution paper will include all decisions and points that taken by participants.
